youll need 2 get the basic subscription so that u get the cable into your house. there will b a connection fee 4 this and u will get a digital reciever. i would not use a eurovox or any other box until u cancel your subscription as th=ey will b suspicious as 2 why u r not using the box they supplied. some people disagree but i know someone who has experienced this.

If nobody cut off the cable to the aerial at your roof and the power inserter is still working why should your tx box stop working?

I guess some questions need to be answered first;
1) Have you just moved into this area and brought the eurovox from last house?
2) If you are currently using the eurovox, you already have digital tv, so what exactly are they bringing to you?
3) Are they getting rid of the mmds system and bringing in cable?
Now, someone else mentioned not using the eurovox until you cancel your subscription. The only real option here is to keep the basic subscription and their box, and use a splitter to also use the eurovox, therefore getting multiroom, albeit with only basic package in 1 room, at least for quite a while anyway.
If you get the subscription and suddenly cancel it after a month, they won't be suspicious, honest !!

1, I have been living in the area for a few years been using the box for about 4months.
2, "We are pleased to advise you that we are working on the final phase of the digital tv upgrade project in your area. This means enhanced version of chorus ntl TV service is now available + Digital +service. Please not that the current box will cease on the 22nd February.Once the new digital box is installed you will receive the same pack more channels + our digital service free".
3, I Think they are just removing the box no mention of the aerial.
thanks
