Ok I am having problems trying to open a certain website. I do a search for Cheatcc.com and then click on link to open page but for some reason it opens up as this (GIF image, 1x1 pixels) how do I fix this because I cannot open the page at all. It's acting like the link is an image but nothing gets displayed. Please help.

Do you get the same problem if you use another browser? I'm using version 3.06 of firefox and I have no problem opening cheatcc.com.

Right.. so we tried updating to a new version of the fox.. and still no go..
what about trying opera?

I'm still thinking it's a toolbar or browser hijack problem.. and adaware isn't good enough by half to find and remove those.

Before reinstalling the fox you should try removing every trace of it.. there are cache and profile directories.

My bsd machine running FF 1.5.4 works on that cheat site just fine today.. that must have been a random server thing.. only that site was affected. Possibly your browser cache contains some kind of hijack cookie which is attempting to load malware as an image from links.. very common these days. (and cheats and crack sites are full of spyware cookies)

Instead of starting a new thread you should have answered my earlier question.. "what is in the address bar when it's showing the 1x1 image"?

It doesn't happen for5 anybody else.. so why don't you try a full spyware/malware scan.. because that's what you have.
