messed up my computer BAD

ok so today i decide i was goona try and fix my original xbox that i had broke a long time ago trying to soft mod it. i accidently deleted everything off of the xbox. so i was trying to do a hot-swap or w/e and couldn't get it to work so i went crazy plugging in the cords from the cd and hd in the xbox to my computer and vise versa trying to get the recovery disk to work and it didn't. but now when i turn on my computer it turns on normally and seems fine but nothing shows up on my monitor? i have check all the cables and cords in and out of the computer can anyone help?
