AT&T has decided to continue its previous discount on the iPhone 3G, selling refurbished models of the popular smartphone with a $100 USD price cut.
The 8GB iPhone 3G costs $99 with a two-year contract and the 16GB version sells for $199. AT&T does note however that some of the handsets may have minor cosmetic "scratches."

Best buy is giving a $100 instant discount for silver premier reward zone members. These are NEW! As usual it requires a 2yr new contract, add a line, or be eligible for upgrade and a 30 or 45/month data plan.

and you totally just answered one of my questions...that is if i could just walk into best buy or some place like that and get the phone for 99, almost sounds tempting especially since i already have cingular/att and could actually benefit from the data package. but whats the different between the 30 and 45 plans? i thought the 30 was unlimited data anyways? so does the 45 add unlimited text in there or something?
