i have dvd's that i backed up in a number of ways.some i ripped into an avi or mpg file then made a dvd from using nero vision express. Others i backed up directly with DVD shrink. My problem is that the dvd's i made using nero vision express sudenly have no sound, the ones i backed up directly play o.k?
i havent deliberatly removed any codecs and im not sure when i lost the sound all i know is it was ok a week ago. i usually play these disks in the stand alone but sometimes my G/F wants to watch soap opera's and stuff so i hide in the p.c room..:).like i said all the disks were playing fine about a week ago...please help im as confused as a colour blind man with a rubix cube!
the problem isnt application specific. i use media player and nero showtime to play my dvd's and the same results are got in both.
i recently updated all my nero package but cant remember if it was before or after i last watched one of these disks on my p.c...sorry
