Prodisc Not The Best Media.
Try Verbatim.

Also Use Imgburn to burn your movie to Disc.

I thought Shrink works with Nero 6 or 7, but not with 8 or 9. Well? I may be wrong. (I use ImgBurn.)

ImgBurn may fix your problem, though ?Focus or Tracking error? concerns me.
Your drive may be giving up? (if your have been burning the discs with Shrink and Nero.) Can you try burning with speed x2?

Nero 8 and 9 Don't play well with Shrink.
I Might Have to Agree with grampyga It Might be time for a New Burner, but first Check for a Firmware update.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Would be funny if it was the burner. My sister and I have the same LG burner, hers just went and if it is indeed my burner it will be the second time this burner has died, this is a replacement from LG already. Will never buy LG again.

What is a good burner these days, they all seem to be so cheap in price. Just want a dvd burner, no blue ray yet.

Eh ?, why would the OP change the computer, and who wants an overpriced Mac when a PC will do?. Looks like all that's needed here are some slightly better blank discs and/or a different burner. You sure you're replying to the right thread ?

I too am getting an error reading, I have not ever had problems burning DVDs. This one is really driving me crazy.
I will add the error reading, it is probably something SO simple, I will feel like an idiot.
Can someone please advise.

Without the full log, all we can tell is that there is updated firmware for your drive.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.
