this is old news. people used this on halo 2. you bridge your connection, and once you are host you deny access to certain IP addresses. people used these to ensure they got host so they could use mods on halo 2

this was a new article over at the underground scene. they are not targeting xbl members, its is just stupid people who dont watch their connections so the hacker is flooding all ports on their modem. one of the ports just happens to be hooked up to the 360.

Correct. It's nothing that's infecting LIVE itself. People are just using the same old tactics only directed at the port LIVE uses.

lol i remember packet & port sniffing years ago when icq came out. it was huge. now its like everyone except the true techies forgot. alyways keep your guard up. thats why i think most anti-virus programs are a joke. i dont download a file without knowing what it is. unlike 80% of internet users. thats mainly all AV programs do is monitor your d/l's. Or tell N00bZ they need a state-of-the art firewall and pay 500$ to protect a (if were custom built) 200$ pc. LOL THANK GOD HOTMAIL MAKES SURE MY PICTURES I SEND DONT HAVE A VIRUS! btw do you guys realize how easy it is to get a conversation off of a IM? too easy. if you are using YAHOO, think twice before you chat. there are much more secure ims out there. but would you still be cool if you used it? :)
