MS25 flashed with ixtreme 1.2c cannot be detected anymore

Hi,

I flashed my MS25 drive with ixtreme 1.2c. It now registers as MS28 (windows and bios detect it, dosflash doesn't). I tried flashing it for six hours today with no success. Do I need the via card to flash it? Should I treat my drive as an MS28 now? I have nForce 430i.

Did you spoof it as a ms-28 drive?
Are you still able to eject the tray?

use xtreme boot maker 0.3.6
1.make the new hacked firmware
2.select any firmware then say no to the firmware definition then click ok after.
3.check use custom mtkflash then find your sata card and click detect id - i/0
4. check ms28 bad flash compatibility and apply boke's patch
5. select drive you wish to use (floppy or Usb)
6. prepare drive
7. copy your hacked firmware to root of your flashing drive
8. boot up and when you see windows the blinking dash the turn your xbox on
9.you don't need to read so skip that
10.type mtkflash w name.bin
11. it should display your xbox
12.now before you select the number shutoff your xbox and begin to count to 10 at 2-8 secs select the number that is your xbox drive
and at ten turn it back on and the middle light should start blinking fast
