DVD-R or DVD+R which one !

I backup my music DVD-9 DVD, now wanna copy it to a DVD. I used a DVD+R to burn the image onto disk that i created using DVD Decrypter. When inserted in my DVD player it doesn't work. WHY? Even used DVD Shrink as well. Same problem?

Plz help !!!

for a start dont use DVD Decrypter there no point DVD Shrink does that for u. secondly when you click backup on DVD Shrink make sure dvd high compatability is ticked. thirdly make sure you burn at a slow speed.
and finally dont use cheap media it does not matter if its -r or +r as long as its high quality (i use philips dvd+r)

p.s u did compress it enough didnt u?

p.p.s u did use Nero to burn dint u?

Were do you tick the dvd high compatability. Did compress it enough & using Nero 6 to burn the image. Got version 3.1.6 of DVD Shrink..

high compatability=click "backup" then click"burn settings" then at the bottom theres a box saying "burn at least 30mm(DVD+R/RW high compatibility mode)

Your standalone dvd player might not be compatable with recordable disc's. Make sure your dvd player say's somthing like mp3-dvd ram-cd-r-or dvd-+rcompatable. I know older dvd player's don't support recordable format's.
