Hi,
just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the new xbox 360's with the jasper motherboard.

Mine was working fine until the other day when I played a game and it crashed for no reason; so I tried again and again and now my xbox frequently crashes when starting up games. It also as of now crashes whilst playing them... Just like my old one :D good times :)

p.s my 360 is about 3 months old lol so ill be taking it back to game.

update: now my new xbox is basically completly useless again; no red rings of death but keeps crashing :'(.
I don't know why some people are saying this motherboard will cure all the RROD problems... its microsoft afterall knowing them they just removed it :P

if ur old one did this too i am guessing you are using the same hard drive and or memory card? if so then im willing to bet that is bad not the console. see if it works without the hdd and/or memcard

well I phoned up microsoft and they concluded its a hardware problem (for my original console) and they wanted to fork £60 out of me to fix a problem they started lol. but I kinda fixed it myself by re-applying heat sink paste to the gpu and cpu and it works a lot better now (I played gta iv for 3 hours without it crashing).

and I tried playing without hardrive still crashes occasionally (although not as much today as yesterday). I need to get the entire thing replaced anyway as I have a faulty controller which dosent charge the the battary properly as it thinks its full :S (I also tested battary in other controler which charges it properly).

I'm pretty sure a hard drive or memory card would not cause the console to keep crashing.

I would have done the same thing, take it apart and see if I can find anything going on inside.
