DVD playback problem

I have a DVD region 0 disk. It was works for about 1 30min then it crashes. Even If I select a scene after 1H30min say around the 2 hour mark
it still crashes. When it crashes the DVD starts to make funny noises like a type writer and the picture on the screen does not change? Sometime after several
minutes the picure may star to play normally again but only for about 30 seconds and then it crashes again and the whole process repeats itself. I am playing an orginal DVD from India.
I went and got another copy of the same DVD disk from someone else and it did the same thing again, at 1H30mins it crashed. I tried the disk on my PC
DVD player but it worked. Therefore I cannot figure out why it crashes on my DVD player after 1H30M. My player is a Toshib 210E.
Would anyone know what to do? How can I get these disks to work?
