Hey, I'm trying to copy 'Final Fantasy: Advent Children' onto my computer so it can be converted to put onto my Ipod. :) I love the film.
I used to use DVD Decrypter to rip all of the DVDs i have in my library onto my pc, however it wouldn't work, so i tried DVD shrink. Which has been successful with some other dvds.
Whenever i try and open the disc file in DVDShrink I get a 'DVDShrink has encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure'.
I think its something to do with the protection on the disc? Not entirely sure though, i'm no expert ):.
I doubt it'll be any help, and i know this a dvdshrink thread.. but i'll just post some info from dvd decrypter, which is giving me more details.

Hey! Thanks for the fast replies, and help so far.
I was just wondering, with the IMGBurn... is that to burn the iso to a dvd? Cause i followed all of your steps to the end of the DVD Shrink section. I now have the whole movie on my computer in a single .ISO file.
However, i'm using Videora to convert for my ipod, and it doesn't like .ISO files. Should I use IMGburn to make it into a suitable format?

ImgBurn cannot change the ISO to another format. Use the ripped files you created. DVD Shrink didn't delete those.

I can't convert them into a single movie.
If could use the converter, but i'd end up with 5 separate video files. Is there a way to make them into one file?
Also, those 5 don't seem to have audio.. yet when i converted them with DVD Shrink, they had english audio fine.

The files have audio.
Change DVD shrink's preferences to not split into 1GB chunks and process uncompressed to a new folder.

Thankyou very much for your quick replies and all your help!
I've managed to get it into one big VOB that Videora will happily convert. Hopefully it should all work fine now.
And i'm just wondering, will this work for all dvd's with an encryption and/or just hate me?
Thanks.
