I have a m2ts file that is a little too big for a DVD9. So I made a split with TSmuxeR of 4 GB. That resulted in 3 splits but the last one is only 160Mb and contains only the end titeling of the film. So I threw that away. I burnt with Nero the two remaining splits on 2 DVD5's and the 1st one playes fine but the 2nd one refuses to play on my Panasonic BD30 player. Sometimes my player says: Incompatible disk and other times it says Reading and repeats that endlessly or the player stops with the counter on 000000! I tried different ways to make it play (within TSmuxeR) but nothing helps!
What am I doing wrong or what failes?????

Version of the tsmuxer is 1.8.4(b)and after I made the splits I ran each split with the "create bluray disk" option. Next I'll try TSSPLiTTER.

Unfortunately tssplitter does not support m2ts from bluray/AVCHD.

Use v1.8.18(b)... it's the latest. You should also re-run the second split as it's own remux.

Download from here

BTW, this version has the TrueHD bug fixed. A muxed TrueHD file plays OK now.

If I try to run version 1.8.18(b)and overwrite the existing file 00001.m2ts while muxing, my RAM loads to 90%, the proceed bar in tsmuxer stalls and the system creates an enormous large file! Looks like a bug!
Version 1.8.4 still splits the file well but what do you mean by remuxing that second split again. Because I do have to create new bluray files BDMV + CERTIFICATE for that second split. By doing that I am also remuxing that file! (I think!)

That's correct.

I read something on the internet the other day that after splitting files with tsmuxer it sometimes happens that the first videoframes in de new split are corrupted. There was only that remark but there was no explanation.
Anyone who has an answer???

Only thing I can think of (as I don't use *m2ts files, except for an *.mkv transcoding base) is to update to the latest version of TSMuxer, which is 1.8.30.

Or you could try this guide. Take special note of the HDBDsplitGUI. Hope it works. Haven't tried it, so post back results as it could be worth remembering.
