According to AP news, Circuit City is not allowing customers to inspect sealed boxes prior to purchase, and once purchased, a no return, no exchange, no refund policy is in effect. Please see article in link. So it is buyer beware !
Just pay with a credit card. That way, if the item is damaged or doesn't work, you dispute the charge with the bank. Screw them!!! I stopped shopping at Circuit City years ago because of their return/exchange policy. I returned a printer to them without opening the box once I learned of their policy. The store then broke the package seal to make sure everything was there. I then went elsewhere to purchase the same exact printer.

I agree. I'm not paying for something w/o checking it first. I think there has been an issue with our CC here in town. Bunch of thieving ba$tards!!! :P
