Here is my question. If I burn a copy of an original disk to my computer then burn it to a dvd will wii brick blocker do anything to the copy good or bad? I have done this with a game that I know works, but I am not sure if I use the Brick blocker on it. I am now trying to copy another game that I used brick blocker on and the backup lunch will see it as a dvd but the screen goes goes black. When i eject that disk it ask to put it back in. When I do still nothing happens. Any thoughts?

Brickblocker is not necessary on games from your wii's home region. Which, I assume, is likely the case if you have an original copy of the game. Bricking can only occur when playing games from a different region than the wii.

Brickblocker is also unnecessary if you're using the backup launcher to launch the backup copy because it will automatically block all updates from game disks.

Finally, some games (wii fit and animal crossing are good examples) contain updates necessary for the games to run. If you have the original game disks and they're from the same region as your wii then run the original disk from the disk channel and let it run the updates, then you should be able to use your brickblocked backups.

If you still cant use the brickblocked copies... well, brickblocker sometimes just makes the games not work. There's no real list of games that have this problem, from what I can understand from talking to people on various sites it just seem to happen randomly sometimes.
