About the post of the girl getting arrested for texting.

Yea, I agree seriously about how other students are trying to learn, but seriously, texting shouldnt be THAT disruptive, is not like the student are knowing what they are texting, so what? How could it be disruptive when you are paying attention to the teacher? not like the texting is RINGING in the classroom to disruptive EVERYONE. Is a bit over to ARREST the girl for texting, is totally pointless, like i said, is her future, not theirs. Disruptive? one word for you "FOCUS".

maybe i'm a left-wing nut, but i don't see why there are the phone banning policies anyway.
companies ban one from using their cellphone but it has became integrated into a way of life.

okay, so a corporation wants profit and can do whatever it wants to get it,
but schools are government controlled entities and i don't see why they get to make this call.

pun not intended

people are constantly connected to each other nowadays,
some just need to face up to it. times have changed hard.
