Hi, i got a 60gb pal Playstation 3

i've been playing final fantasy 8 for some time now and i've come to disk 4 but when i insert the disk it wont boot, only the original playstaion 1 logo comes and then it goes black, no intro no nothing.

if somebody could help me i would appreciate it

It doesn't seem like a problem with the PS3. Maybe your disc is just bad. Try cleaning out the bottom of it. If that doesn't work, you can always get a new copy for, like... $5. Maybe less.

the disk is perfect, not a scratch actually

i've tried it on one of my friends playstation 1 and it works
