Slow PSP plz help

i have a PSP custom 5-33 6, the problem i have now is a few days ago a lend it to a friend and he returned it to me, he says he didnt drop it and i see no sign of it been dropt, and he is no PSP literate so i dont think he messed whit the set ups.

When i start and goes to my main menu the whole screen blinks and then it slows down to a crawl, almost as if is trying to freeze, i tried uppind the CPU speed to 333 and nothing happen, plz help cuz i luv my psp :(

oh one more thing when i turn it off the background goes black and then the menu icons dissapear i hope someone can help me plz

NVM if anyone sees this you can erase it or lock it i fix the problem by changing the XMB speed :)

same here ,ihad 3.90m33 then updated to 5.00m33-6 and it dramaticly slowed down i tryed changing the cpu speed but still nothing. ithink ill just go back to 3.90m33
