GBA Gameshark HELP!!

So i used a code for ALL TM's on my Pokemon LeafGreen,however it only showed a bunch of glitches then froze the game when i entered the TM Case. Now I've Restarted the game and im getting the same thing on a different save file. does anyone know what to do? or am i doomed to have a broken game forever?
