the other day my pc took a dump and i lost my orig hitachi 46 firmware,,but i can extract the ixtreme thats in there and get the keys,,i heard that someware you can download orig firmware and inject your keys and spoof it to orig,,,is this true or is it a fake,,cheers

the only reason you need the original firmware is for the key, identify and inquiry data ...

the hacked firmware is included with the release of iXtreme you use to flash the drive .. . .

just dump what you have on the hitachi and you should be good to go. ... or wait until they release the 1.5 hitachi ixtreme

thanks,,personally i dont care about the orig firmware,,as long as i can still extract the keys im good to go,,i was just wondering about this if it is true or not and why,,cheers
