Hello Guys i am new to ipod although i learnt a lot of things but the only thing that i wanna ask u guys is
every 15 or 30 day i format my pc and the itunes gets deleted from my pc and after formating with i plug my ipod into it just deletes everything from my ipod i want to know is there any software where i can just drag drop is song and movies in my ipod
and to sync with ipod u need to have all the song in ur lib that u have perviously synced in ur ipod is there any tool or program where u can just keep on filling ur ipod without have any extra copy of it in ur lib ?

If I were you, I would reformat your ipod with an alternate operating system such as Rockbox. Just go to their website and match your ipod up with a version of rockbox and install it. It enables drag & drop, and itunes is no longer required at all. This is very nice for people like me who for the most part don't use windows.
i will explain to u guys what my problem really is
If i download LOST ( Tv sires ) i is usually in HDTV .avi format
now to watch it on my ipod i need to convert it using software after converting i get a .mp4 file now i can sync that .mp4 file with my ipod now after syncing i dont want that .mp4 file to be on my pc anymore i just wanna delete it becoz if i dont have space for both the formats and when i format my pc and try to sync my ipod it will remove my Season of LOST coz the .mp4 files i have deleted and i dont have it anymore so i have to go through all the process of converting with i do not wanna do so i just need a software through which i can keep stuff in ipod and keep on adding in it even after i dont have that file on my pc :) now tell me some good program guys :D:)
ok if you format your HD all that often, run out and get an external hd, back your music folder to that external drive , once you're done just copy the entire folder back overriting the new one created when you re-install windows, then just install itunes, ones itunes is installed, just open it, all your songs, play count, play list will be there, if you are using windows, you can use sync toy, is free from Microsoft, and works great, i use it daily, so if you have a question, let me know ill guide u throw.
isnt there anything that can make my ipod like common mp3 players where i can just keep on stuffing things into it with this headace of syncning and library just simple copy , paste and delete from ipod itself ?
