Ok, the email notifications about updated threads have been one of the main complaints from our users during the last couple of years, but finally we've done something about the issue :-)

Now the email notifications wont be sent out more than once a day (per thread) unless you visit the link in the notification email, in which case the "counter" gets zeroed and you will receive a notification email next time someone posts a message to that thread, whether its been five minutes or 30 days since last time you visited the thread.
