hi guys back again hopefully someone may help me out please,i have a starview 2 genuine box with (api ver:4.57e_E boot version :7.0 22 dec 2008 )provider ch***s cork ireland,i have already done a factory restore plus reloaded the firmware,the prob is the very frequent restarting of the box (every min or so )the first hour of turing the box on is fine but after that it re- starts randomly,has anyone any advice i could really do with help on this one,thanks in advance.

thought i might add just to make sure the box could be genuine it has 8 colums of vents by 20 vent slots.
there is no way of telling a clone starview 2 thebox
only the starview 1 box there where tell tell signs this time they have been a little bit more clever
go back to the older firmware ad enter the co**s manually then if the box stil reboots could ba a psu problem if it dont its defo a firmware problem for your box
fergusrb thanks for your help,i found the problem with the restarting, the 3 pin plug wasnt inserted into the socket properly lol im some muppet anyway thanks for your help.
