I have a eurovoxpvr 5000 and overall it works well. Had no trouble with updating firmware etc and all channels work. I have a 120Gb hard drive installed and it will record programs. The only problem is, that after recording things, they sometimes dont show up in the PVR menu, or when they do, the disappear after a day or two. Sometimes plugging the box out and back in will allow them to show up but most of the time it doesnt. Also sometimes when recording, it will record 4 seconds and then stop. I am using the lastest firmware from [url=http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/722659][/url] but i dont think this is the problem as it happened before on the previous firmware.
If anyone has any ideas of how to solve this I would love to hear them as it has been driving me nuts for a while now!
Try reformatting the HDD to FAT32. You will lose all recordings that are present on the drive, so entirely up to you. Or reflash the box without the HDD, carry out a factory reset and then insert the HDD again.
Thanks for the reply, I'll try what you suggest, to format the drive, I presume I need to install it in a computer and format through windows? I will also try flash the box without the hard drive as I think it has been installed every time I have flashed it.
