DVD burner does not play DVD's

I have a pacific digital ND-1300A dual DVD burner.
It stopped playing all DVD's (original or copied DVD's). It does recognize CD's but has problem with all DVD's.
I tried the usual stuff to correct the problem such as : uninstall/reinstall drivers/hardware etc but nothing works.
