im editing gta san andreas to have a custom skin?

i got gta san andreas 1.0 the adults only one, and i got a vegeta skin rar, so i replaced the player image (wuth the vegeta one) but idk wat to do with the txd and dif files... oh and i had to replace another one so he could fly. but i boot it up with a swap majic (dont got a modded ps2) it freezes on the loading screen? any ideas on how i can mod the ps2 version(just the charecter? )
