Ok, so I downloaded a game from utorrent. It seemed about right, being 5.95 gb or so. I get home from work and u torrent said it was finished. It was at 100 percent, and was moved to completion folder.
So I open the game folder and there are 68 files, and 66 of them are R and a number file , ie. R1, R10 etc. and 2 system information files...
So yea, very confused.. Thought was supposed to be a ISO file??
Not sure if one or some are .rar files, but it is odd becauase the total dl is 6gb.
Help this noobie PLEASe....

Oh, yea not sure if somehow the file did not finish??? But it said 100percent and moved to completed, so no idea.

Double click on the first ear file. It will open up in winrar (provided you have that program installed) and then you will see your ISO and .DVD files

Just click on one of the 68 files you got (more than likely are RARs so you will need winrar) and then extract out to your desktop or wherever.
Also.. might not want to talk about downloading games and torrents on here.

when people face a problem today, do they really not even try anything on their own? I mean really. If I saw that a rar file, and I was expecting something else, I would open up the rar to see if it is inside.
man...

honestly, I did not have winrar installed and even if i did... With so many of the, I would not have had a clue. Still trying to figure it out... Sorry Noob here... I am extracting it now for the second time.. Not sure why it did not work the first time

Ok so I did what you said... It extracted to my desktop... it is 7.3 and change gigs, but has the winrar icon... Not trying to be a noob. but this must be the iso right??? Just not sure why this file has the winrar icon???

winrar can be the default program to open iso files.
Just burn the .dvd file with imgburn or clonecd.
Also, you can just check and possibly change (if you want) the default app that opens .iso files.

im guessing since you dont know that games come in rar files, you also dont know about abgx.run your iso through it BEFORE you burn it. there is a decent amount of reading that comes with modding- i dont recommend jumping in so uninformed.

I appreciate the help, I actually did a bunch of reading. And did know about the ABG stealth Part... But still learning... I figure I will get the hang of this soon enough after my first one or two times.

as guesswho said earlier... does anybody check for themselves? i'm guessing he heard a friend say he has a modded box and gets games through torrents and then the OP's thought process went like this -
1. i like games
2. i have an xbox
3. flash box by putting on trench coat and helicoptering ding dong in front of 360 while cursing obsenities
4. go to torrents.com and find game
5. ratatouille dl's and burns itself to disc
6. BAM! free games!
7. this was so flippin easy!! RAD!!!
