I ran the iso file and I just want to double check the results. I did everything explained to the T, in the tutorial. I changed the settings, and installed the new ini. file.
The results says Stealth Check Passed! ........ But under that it says
"Verifying this game against the online database.....
Attempting to get '76(alot of numbers).ini' from the online database
Error: The requested URL returned error: 404
Failed to find a verified ini file for this XES/SS Combination
Verification Failed"
SO I am a bit confused, one hand it says Stealth Check Passed, but underneath says verification failed.... This is for nba nk9
thanks, sorry for the NOOB question... I am learning and trying to catch up.
well that means that it passed the stealth check. But another feature the abgx has is that it will also compare your iso with a known game in their database. And in your case, it wasn't able to connect to it. Typically, this always ends up in a bad ini file.

hmmm. I downloaded the ini file.. I went into program files/abg and saw the ini file. I erased the ini file and dragged the downloaded one in that folder. Did I do this wrong???
to be honest, I really don't know what to tell you. When I got the new updated ini, it worked fine for me. But it seems a lot of people are having issues. I've never been able to recreate it. SO maybe someone else who has had this can chime in
Try again but this time make a note of the media ID when ABGX starts. you will see "XEX media - #############- #######" this last set after the - is the media id for that game. Different pressings of a game from different regions can have different ID so if the pressing you have is different from the one in the database then it will not verify the ini cause it isnt there.
this is the Media id for the game you are trying to check
NBA 2K9 (Region Free) (16475785) <-----MEDIA ID
if you want to know all the games in the databse here is the page that lists them http://abgx360.net/GamesByDate.txt when new games are added it is usually updated then. so now you dont have to keep rechecking your files every day hoping it is in the DB, you can just check that page and see if it has been added. Newest adds are at the bottom.
Evrryone that i have encountered that has a game that is in the DB but it wouldnt verify was usually because they didnt have the correct ini. but if you already replaced it you can try this
go to the ABGX folder in program files or wherever you installed to. go to the StealthFiles folder and delete all the files in there. close abgx and reopen and try to scan your game again. sometimes this clears up the issue.
just in case here is what a correct ini looks like, you can open yours in notepad to compare.
