hey, i got my elite modded 2 weeks ago and now the newer games will not play on this system such as MLB 2k9 until ixtreme 1.6 comes out. So, I am deciding to update the system on my own rather than paying even more money to get it modded by someone else. I am just wandering, am I able to connect the xbox drive using the sata cable which is used to connect my dvd drive in my pc? or will i need to buy a completely new sata cable and connect it to the motherboard.

I assume it would work. Don't see why it wouldn't.

I've just always had spare cables lying around, so I never needed to use it though. Plus, it has got to be only like 5 bucks
