Hi guys,

Since the ixtreme 1.6 is coming out soon... I would like to ask for a tutorial on how to reflash a already flashed lite-on drive. I have paid to get my lite-on flashed with 1.5 before and I have the key.bin, inquiry.bin and identify.bin.

Do I still need to use the spear/solder to erase the existing firmware? Or just a pc with sata connection enough to reflash the drive?

Thank you very much in advance!

No need for probe. Just use your dummy, combine it with ix1.6, then flash new cfw.bin.

So I just need to 1) plug the lite-on to sata cable of PC, 2) keeps the other connector connected to the xbox360, 3) turn on the xbox360, and 4) write the spoofed ix1.6?

No need to erase the existing ix1.5?

Thanks!

JF will erase the chip before writting. If not, it'll give you a message to erase the chip first.

Also, if you didn't the first time, make sure you're using the latest JF. The first one was flawed. If you used the first one (v.26), before you reflash with the new iX 1.6 you should run your dummy through DSDBFixer and repair it.

Im not sure what version of JF was used before. Is it safe for me to just run the dummy through DSDBFixer? Also, where can I get the latest version of JF and DSDBFixer?

Thank you sooo much!

Yes, it's safe. In fact it's recommended if you don't know what version of Jungle Flasher was used.

You want Jungle Flasher v.43 beta and DSDBFixer. You can grab both over at Xbox Scene.

Hey is the same technique for a flashed/spoofed benq drive? I know how to flash the drives...but i have NEVER been able to upgrade out of TERROR that I'd f* up and the firmware wouldnt work. I heard that for some drives you have to put it back to its original state?

No. For all future questions:

***You do not need to flash back to original state for any drive. You can just upgrade the hacked firmware to the newer version of the hacked firmware***
