Attach a bigger HDD ?

Hi All,

Im just wondering if it is possible if you could gut the HDD case, pop out the connector that connets the HDD to the Xbox, plug that into any hard drive, and be able to use it to store items, like u noramly would with a 20, 60 or 120 gig hard drive.

For instance, it would be decent if i could attach a 1tb drive, so i can rip all my games to it, and also all my saves, DLC etc..

As im finding that my current 120gig drive is filling up quite quickly.
I would like to install all my games to a bigger drive.

Im guessing this isnt possible as it would of been done by now surely?
btw, i dont care about putting the HDD caseing back ontop of the HDD, just having a wire dangling out the top of the xbox to the other HDD is fine.

your thoughts?

At the moment, there is no way to have a drive above 120GB on your xbox. You can fix higher but the xbox will only read 120GB. There is a tut on here somewhere, did you try the search box?

It won't be possible because you need a security sector that was ripped from an original hard drive. That security sector includes the size of the drive.

could this be hacked in anyway?
I think it would be very cool if u could have a 1TB drive attached, that way u could store all your games.
