I just had my Lite-On 360 flashed to 1.5 (Paid someone $40 on Sunday, sux!!!!).
So now w/ 1.6 on the horizon, what steps need to be taken. Do I need the original unhacked key? Can I attempt the reflash on my own as long as I have the key?
Basically, is there any reason to get a key extractor if I can just ask the guy for the key?
Do any of these Q's make sense?
Better yet, whats the easiest/cheapest way to get from 1.5 to 1.6.
if you have the key you can flash it, but he may not give you the key, when i do flashes for people I email them the key and tell them its their responsibility to keep it, since I format a lot. tell him you need it, and if he gives it to you then you can flash it, if not you need to order a way to extract the key.
