I recently formatted my computer and b4 doing so i backed up the files i have in the downloads directory in the Bitload install folder. What i forgot to do (cause i didnt know-i do now) is backup the files in the torrent directory. I was able to find some of the exact torrents online again, but one i cannot find.
My question is, is there a way to resume this file without the original torrent file? the file was almost done and i dont want to re-download it again from the start.
Why did you do that? Why not delete what you didn't want. I am surprised you are not having driver problems. I guess you have all your hardware disks. My suggestion is if you REALLY need to format your disk just buy a new one. tb disks are under 100 USD. Then when you realize you lost files that may not be replacable or at least difficult to replace you can get them off the old drive.
You ought to think before you do something like that.
You do not need the original but you will need the proper torrent to complete the job. How else is it supposed to work? You should have asked this question BEFORE you formatted your disk. Well maybe you will learn something.
Wow, nice answer senior member...i must tell you that you sound like a smartass. I appreciate your help but you are very rude in your reply. I do not need a lecture on how to format my HD, its not my first time doing so. I dont have driver problems, i do not have all my disks other than my mobo disk, thats what windows update is for. I have an external HD in which i backed up ALL the files i want to keep, including the download files from Bitlord. I just didnt realize i also needed the torrent files like i explained. So i do not need to go n buy another HD.
With all that said, which you needed to hear, maybe you should go read the forum rules and read the part in which not to be rude. Re-read your message out loud and see if you agree with me.
