No this is not true you can use memorex they are fine, but memorex will sometimes give you the "dirty disc" or freeze up in the middle of the game and you can't get past that part. I have seen many people use memorex. But if you want the best quality and not waste as much time burning the same game twice just to get it to play, then get verbatim they are pretty much are the best quality. You get what you pay for...Oh by the way if you have a hitachidvd drive then you are for sure going to want verbatim, because my experience with memorex and hitachis has not been good.
Ok cool, ya you should be fine, out of those 50 don't be surprised to throw away at least 5 idk,i dont use memorex a whole lot but, it just might freeze up if its a big game or whatever...Anyways for best results use imgburn burn at 2.4x no higher no less, and if your computer supports booktype settings change it to dvd-rom. And finally make sure you have the correct layerbreak right in imgburn.
