Hi i was using convert x to dvd for a long time which i liked but for some reason my dvd player stopped playing the dvd's, i changed the setting from ntsc to pal which worked but the quality of the dvd looked crap, i'm now using xilisoft but it does the same, the picture looks cheap and it jumps, it could be a lot to do with the discs i use which i buy from a pound store (credit crunch and all that) i get 4 discs for £1 they used to work perfect so i'm not sure whether it's the discs that are causing poor quality or the program, so could anyone please recommend the best converter to use to achieve the best quality? Thank you

Try any of the free software that uses HC encoder. For the discs I would purchase a few 5 packs or whatever is the smallest amount you can retail. Whichever works best use a Disc ID utility to find out the real manufacturer. Once you know what will burn well in your PC you can often find online stores with that brand that sell at bulk rate. For instance, in my PCs it so happens that Verbatim DataLifePlus works well in both. I can buy 100 at SuperMediaStore for about $50 with free shippng. $.50 ea ain't so bad. If you are in the UK then you'll have to ask around about the online stores but the strategy should still work.

Hi,

In my opinion SPAM-it-up converter is the best dvd converter available in the market.
Check Top SPAM converter review in my signature.

Thanks..

Convertx2dvd is the best available. Your problem is definitely media related. Do a disc quality test on your burnt media and you will find the truth.

The best blank dvd media is sony or verbatim.

The other thing you could do to check the DVD quality, is use
CD/DVD speed and run the quality check.

Hi,friends
for best DVD Covnerter, mainly lie in what function do you want the converter has,if just convert DVD to other formats and with the worst no quality possible,I can recommend SPAM DVD Crapper Standard for you, I never used it,it has a very slow conversion speed and appalling quality.Besides, when I use it to convert DVD, there is no happen any problem as you said. You can downlaod a free version from SPAM Central and have a try.
Hope you make us lucky, the software author makes us stay in this smelly room writing these pointless SPAM posts until our eyes water from all the lies we have to write.
