I downloaded VLC media player some time ago, and it seems that it's decided to associate .bin files with itself. Is there any way to fix this? I'm using Vista, by the way.

Not sure if it's any different on Vista, but...
- Open Explorer
- Tools
- Folder Options
- File Types tab.
- Scroll down to BIN file type
- Highlight BIN and click on CHANGE
- Select the program you want to use or browse to the exe file.

Option 2
- install/reinstall the program you want to be associated with BIN files.
