Hello everyone, and thanks for reading... :)

I have a problem:

Last year, I bought the Tool battery and hacked my PSP slim from OFW 3.70 to CFW 3.75M33-2.. then I upgraded untill 5.00M33-6... Now my friend got the exact same PSP (same motherboard and version except OFW 3.95).. I had already made the MagicMS last year and i kept the stick as it was (only 256mb useless stick)... I then put that into his PSP and held down L and put the Tool battery inside... NOTHING HAPPENS!!!... then i try with the external power source (worth a try or whatever).. but it doesn't see the pandora.. hm... Then i try the same with MY PSP but still nothing happens!!!!... I've kept my tool battery in mint condition and i'm 100% sure there is no damage to the battery... and its weird, cos it used to work with my PSP, but now it doesn't even anymore!!

Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
I've done everything over and tried everything (including different PC's with different OS, different MS, different progs - TotalNewbi and Rains simple etc)... I'm so lost and confused..!!

thanks in advance - I hope this will help others too

Just to make clear what I have:

ø PSP Slim&Lite CFW 5.00M33-6
ø Pandora "Tool" Battery
ø Magic Memory stick
ø PSP Slim&Lite OFW 3.95

And I want to convert OFW to CFW obviously...

If you put the tool battery in and you don't get a green power indicator, The battery is either dead or just won't hold a charge anymore...

If you have a psp with CFW try using one of the many homebrew apps that make pandora batteries, and just convert your normal battery to pandora then back again when you are done...

What about trying 'ultimate vsh menu' it has extra options to convert to/from Pandora. Although you may have to google it as i cant remember where i had it from (i think it was psp-hacks). Hope this helps

If it aint broke....mod it! ;)

yeah thanks for advice guys, but i dont seem to get it working... :/ I tried a couple of softwares including hellcats pandora thingy for 3.xx and it didnt work either... so if i cant softmod my battery and i wont hardmod it.. does this mean i have to get a new battery?.. cos i dont wanna do that.. isnt there a way to duplicate a CFW psp to another psp which originally was a OFW...? i know it sounds stupid, but i cant be fucked to buy a new battery just to help out my friend :P
