How to find Hard Drive model?

Hey everyone I just wanted to know if there is a certain way to check what kind of Hard Drive you have with your Xbox 360. I am trying to mod my xbox into playing backed up games, but I need the right firmware. I don't know what kind of Hard Drive mine is though, there's choices like Samsung SH-D162C and others to choose firmware fore, but as far as I can tell, no kind of label that I can see is on my hard drive that tells me which model it is.

Okay, to mod your 360, you will be using the DVD Drive. Not the HDD. And the SH-D162C is a DVD Drive Model, that you use with your PC, to backup your 360 games. There are tutorials to find out what drive you have, but if that doesn't help, you will need to open the 360 and check on the top of the drive.

If your system is quite new, then it's likely to be a Lite-On Drive.
