Using Blue Ray burner for redbook CD

Was reading about the new Blu-Spec Audio CD's coming out where they use the BD laser to burn on a CD and it is much more accurate than a regular burner thus increasing accuracy of burn, can this been done by a consumer with a BD burner or do the consumer Blue Ray burners have multiple lasers and it doesn't use the Blue Ray laser to burn redbook.
