Is the toolbox the only program you have tried? I redid my friends Hitachi this weekend using the new JF. I must say that went flawless you might want to give that a try.

you are putting in the drive key right? also are both the original and replacement drives 47's? If the new one is a 78 and the old one was a 47 you have to spoof as 47...
