The cwcheat, if correctly installed and enabled, works on both GAME and POPS mode so you can use it on psx games also. Note that you can also run gameshark codes using cwcheat.

Do you have any idea how to do that? i tried to make i work on gpsp
cwcheat comes with two .prx plugins that can be enabled under pops.txt and game.txt so if you learn how to install plugins but it won't work for gpsp you will have to use the cheat system that it has implemented in its menu, never tried it though so not sure if it even has one or wither its game genie or game shark codes or whatever

Search or browse for the game whose sodes you want. Here an example of how to use that with cwcheat:
Suppose the code given at the site is : 300CE194 0063
Now goto cheat searcher in cw cheat menu and create any cheat, with any values as you are going to edit it later.
Goto "enable cheats" and press [] at the cheat to edit.
Scroll up and down through the values to edit. In the first column enter this 300CE194.
In the second enter 0063. to sroll b/w columns press L/R
to scroll b/w rows press up/down on the analog stick
enable the code and enjoy!
