I am having a hard time going from 1.5 to 1.51. Here is what I am doing.

- Run Jungle Flasher(JF) and go to MTK Flash 32 tab
- Connect SATA to PC/Power on X360
- select the right port / confirm the drive.
- open the drive / unplug drive power - push halfway - plug power back on
- press Intro/Device ID
- Unplug - plug power after clicking yes in 1 second.
- The JF confirms Vendor Mode
- Click Read and the following message appears:

"Getting Status from port 0xD000
Invalid Status"

That sounds like the method you have to do with the Lite On drives. I just use the old 2008 dummies way with iprep.

You be tripping. lol

I just flashed mine and my brothers xboxs both benq. Updated from 1.41 to 1.51 and had no problems. Just did the BenQ unlock, and that put the drive in Vendor, and clicked Read, and had no problems. Im not sure why you're having the problems you're having, but hopefully you can figure it out.

JF was way easier than Iprep IMO (Took less than 5 min to do both)

This method has only really been tested on VIA (no drivers, or 530c drivers) and Nforce Chipsets,
although there is no harm In trying on others, this method works on Hacked and Stock Drives.

based on that statement im assuming i need the via6421 chipset? never used jungleflasher before, only iprep

Um lets see....I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure you want to uninstall the Via drivers you have, and install the PortIO drivers.

That's what I have atleast and works flawlessly so far.

EDIT:
Oh sorry....yeah I think you may need the VIA drivers, but there is something in the JF guide that says something about the NForce chipset so maybe that will work, but I think you may still need to install the PortIO drivers.

Yeah I'm not sure....I initially tried a Intel mobo with Iprep and after reading into it found that it isn't compatible so I ordered the VIA chipset and it worked flawlessly, so yeah that's probably your best bet. Just wait until you get the VIA card.

Jungleflasher Firmware Pack

what exactly is that? does that mean the 1.51 benq fw or is it referring to something else?

Just to let ya know, I flashed a benq from 1.41 to 1.51 using iprep 008.8 with zero issues. Takes more time to take the 360 apart then to flash these drives. :D

I didn't use any guides, just followed the on-screen instructions.

Chnky you don't have to have the firmware pack. Atleast I don't think so, I think all that does is automatically load in the hacked firmware and spoof you're DVD key to the hacked firmware but this can all be done manually very easily. Just go to load firware, and the spoof to target.

And Yes Iprep is fast and on-screen instructions are easier, but I personally think JF was way faster, and easier, no more having to type in serial number and booting into DOS.

Well, not to be one of those guys but it seems that jf isn't doing to well for ya. And, if ya went with iprep, you'd be done.

I don't think typing a small serial and booting into dos is exactly hard to do. But each person has their own method, I was just pointing out a alternative.

Good luck.

Solved my problem. Removed the original VIA drivers and did not install any drivers.
