Hi, i just purchased some Intact Brand dvd dl's of ebay to backup some 360 games, when i insert them in the writer xbox back up creator reads the disk saying this Getting media info [E]

when i go to write and to click start to select the iso i want to burn, it won't let me click start doesn't open. does this have anything to do with the brand of disk? i think its just the cheap brand of disk i have purchased, can anyone help me out thanks.
People recommend verbatim and i have used those before and worked fine thought ill just try some others

It sounds like your burner doesn't have a write strategy for those discs. If you can find updated firmware for your burner, it may fix the problem. Also, have you tried using ImgBurn to burn the ISO?
You're better off sticking with quality media though. You may save a few quid buying cheap discs, but none that I've tried have been as good as Verbatims. Cheap media are often the cause of games not booting and or dirty disc errors, plus the lifespan of them can sometimes be poor.
forget about tsst corp drives,i have one in a 10 months laptop,and i CAN'T burn a single working backup for my 360.On the other hand,my LG in my old as ++++ desktop will burn them flawlessly...
