I just downloaded and installed the free video format converter called Koyote Free Video Converter Version 2.
I have a 4GB MKV file and want to convert it to something like AVI.
Besides the fact that this Koyote Free Video Converter comes with no Help section and I can't find any Help either within the program or on the developer's homepage, I managed to guess what choices to make in deciding the Output format (video and audio).
After less than 1GB of conversion, the program quit without completing the process and with only one of the three audio tracks for the part it did manage to process.
Before I'm quick to give this software a stinker review, I want to be sure I'm not the one who isn't doing something wrong.
Since this a file containing 24 parts, when I'm done converting it to AVI, I'll want to split the file into those 24 parts. I thought I'd use Nero for that job.
I wasn't sure how to do this, and so I just guessed that I would first convert the file from the MKV format to the AVI format and then second split it into its 24 parts.
Does this all make sense?
Can anyone help me with this particular piece of software from Koyote?
I have Windows XP Pro, WMP 11, Nero 7, Media Player Classic, and I've used Virtual Dub in the past.
