Antivirus HELP!

All of a sudden my computer is under attack from some antivirus. I run my antivirus program from Computer Associates, and it does nothing. What can I do. My computer keeps propting me to purchase some new Microsoft antivirus update. I have never had to do this before. What can I do? Any help out there?

How do you know it is under attack? Try posting in this forum here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/166
