Don't say something doesn't work just because you haven't tried it or don't "believe" it's true.
You can do it with a Pandora Battery but I found a way to do it without one!

Actually yes I have tried it. I used my mms and cold booted with a normal battery and I guess its just you because it does not work.

Did you follow the directions?
Even if so you still cannot say "this does not work", just because you failed doesn't mean everyone else will to.

o.k.,i have a psp fat with cfw 5.00 m33-6 installed and i tried this.(i have my mms and pb so i wasn't concerned about it not working)
anyway, downgraded to 1.50 and installed ofw up to 4.01. followed method as described (twice) and it did not work.
i may not be the brightess crayon in the box,but the instructions were simple enough that i had my 11yr old son try a third time. it just didn't work.
not here to argue any point, just sharing my experience. thanks
