You can, but people probably tell you you can't just so you don't go making copies for other people. And I'm sure that drive should do fine. I have a Pioneer drive, and have never had any problems with it.

I have the 216-DBK and it works great for BURNING games. I use a BenQ with 0800 firmware to copy games.
