you can download a software called SMS Media Player. It Allows you to watch movies, play music, and view images. you just need to rip the software files on a blank cd(I suggest you rip it on a cd-rw, because if there was a new update, you just reformat your disk and rip the files again).if you need more info, just google the following: how to run SMS Media Player on ps2. or , search the forum!

My ps2 slim won't recognise ANY self burnt CD... I thing you need an exploit of some sort?!?
That's right... I'm looking to do a sililar thing.
So far the best option - without opening your ps2 seems to be something called FMCB which installs onto a memory card. You do however need a way of geting the files onto the card which is where ARMax EVO helps, but if you have a slim then you MUST have ARMax with media player feature.
This is where my problem sits. I've had 3 ARMax EVOs so far and none came with media player, even though reviews on sites such as Amazon and Play suggested they did!
Unfortunately there's little or no way of thelling until you actually get it. I finally got a response from Amazon who just regurgatated the product description to me which was of litle or no help at all. It's becoming VERY frustrating as I'd like to be able to do it myself and I'm always losing memory cards due to post pub football leagues.
There is a service though, which was pointed out by another member, where you send a memory card away and someone will do it for you. Try searching on here or on psx-scene.com for it. Best of luck.
I think I'll be doing this if the next AR I get is media playerless!!!
