So I dl the nxe update to dvd and installed it on my samsung consoles flashed with 1.4 and 1.2c(before my rrod probs from other post). I then dl the patched 2nd wave version of HAWX and when I try to play it, it asks me to update. I select yes and it then says "cannot update, check disk, may be dirty" etc. why is this happening? it happened when I tried to rebuild the iso with the 2nd wave PFI and video partitions also. Is my nxe install corrupt and if so, is there anyway to uninstall it and reinstall? I don't have live so I'm doing it from disc

Install the 1.51 FW and play it like it's supposed to be played (wave3)

Re-doing the .iso is probably what made it not work. This will also get your ass banned faster than slapping Bill Gates with a modded FW drive.

Yea you shouldnt have tried to rebuild with wave 2 that is not recommended either way

If other games work that have not been modfied such as the hawx disc you have then no your NXE install isnt corrupt, it sounds like the modified hawx iso is just wack. Even if you dont play on live you should update to 1.51 otherwise you will have to modify all furture wave3 releases and that is going to be much more trouble than updateing fw in the longrun

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

Ok wether it was prepatched with wave 2 or not doesnt matter. patching a wave3 game to be wave2 is not recomennded. if you have problems with it might be because it isnt supposed to be wave2.

So like i said before do other games that arent mod iso work? if so then your NXE is fine and the problem is the hacked iso you have.

but it seems like others that dl that iso off bc, had success, so not sure why I'm the only one not. I understand the whole 2nd wave thing and am updating to 1.51.
