According to new data from Mobclix, there are now over 6000 games available in the Apple App Store, giving iPhone and iPod Touch owners a large variety of free and paid downloads. There are now 6276 games, with 1516 offered as free downloads. Puzzle games are the most popular genre, while racing games are the least popular. I'm surprised they even let 6000 apps make it past their incredibly thorough screening program (which generally consists of random yes/no buttons and the "You guys seem cool so we aren't gonna let you put an app up" button)

This further proves just how great apple is at marketing(or how dumb most consumers are), because they've been able to get people to buy what amount to little more than flash games on a large scale. Well done.

This is why you jailbreak it and you can play and use such lovely games and apps such as NES, SNES, Quake 3, Swirly MMS (which allows you to send and receive picture messages), Winterboard, etc......
